European Earwig

I was watching QI (the highly recommended BBC quiz hosted by Stephen Fry) the other night. Let’s just say the European Earwig is quite interesting for a bug. Apparently, scientists have discovered that not only does it hold the length record, but it also has a fully functional spare one too! Trivial to some, but undoubtedly quite interesting.
